Fahrenheit 451 was a critical novel for me as a teenager. Looking back at the writing, it was definitely a teen novel. What really got me excited was the Francois Truffaut film adaptation. See the first scene to get a flavour for the style. This new version has a lot of live up to in terms of taking risks, boldness and strangeness.
