This is an ad that includes empirical data. It is also viciously partisan, and not particularly accurate. In 2008, McCain did not support Bush “100%”. Another reason this ad might not be useful to the Dems is that it implies a president’s approval ratings are demonstrative of poor leadership. It’s a little (realistically a lot) more complicated than that.

Lily Allen’s new single is pretty amusing & comes out of some seriously upsetting highschool-esq angst. A WARNING on the language: the F-word appears with the frequency of other more wholesome words like “the”. Can this song become popular (mainstream) or should it be adjusted or displaced to the internet fringe? I don’t believe the censors will be liberalizing their opinions of that versatile word anytime soon…the internet is replacing older forms of media & by-passing public policy legislation at every turn.
