There are some dirty tricks in the Minnesota Senate race between Norm Coleman and Al Franken. A bunch of Bloggers claim that Coleman’s wife, Laurie, doesn’t really care about Minnesota (go figure!). “Ridiculous!” retorted the Coleman campaign. And with that they posted this video: Al Franken “green-screened” into Minnesota. Really nasty stuff…parachute candidates beware…..

Building in Motion
I’d like to live in a moving building. This is another unexpected idea. Makes life interesting. I can honestly say I have never thought of this concept. The utility of this building seems rather limited until you learn of the wind turbine aesthetic. Mmmm, wind turbines… The construction process is fascinating, bold and ambitious. My kind of design.
Example of Solid Self-Promotion
This guy is really cool/is the Alpha Male we all want to be more like. Whatever you think of his beliefs (which he is free to believe, btw) his biggest foible was seeking to be understood before seeking to understand others, or possibly something involving Oprah’s couche and his jumping on said couche. Oh and the Matt Lauer interview. Unfortunately, the media loves tearing down public figures by way of negative spin-doctoring. “If it bleeds, it leads” (see Synopsis of The Assault on Reason). This is a new image campaign. Possibly the first of its kind. Pretty interesting approach. One things for sure, he makes Celebrity Gossip mildly amusing.
Farewell, George Carlin
He changed the way we think about the English language AND challenged conventional wisdom; something we ought to be doing more often, if you ask me. He made me and millions of others laugh ourselves to sleep. Even if he’s an atheist, he’s sure to make a few Angels roll off a cloud or two….
