The European Union has over 27 languages of translation which costs them 1/3 of their total administrative budget. Eventually emails, newspapers will all be flawlessly translated into any language instantaneously. This will entrench linguistic group autonomy but also enhance a sense of European-ness, given that everyone will understand what they are discussing.
